Cannot find or create the font some characters may not display Problem

Good Morning 🙂

the company I'm working for is currently asking the employes to do more homeoffice during the corona crisis.

The Problem here is, that we were in the middle of transitioning from Autocad LT 2012 to Autocad 2020.

Some of the Standards we were using until now, is not working properly any more.

Most of the stuff seems to be fixable without a lot of problems, but unfortunately there is one thing that we can't figure out and I'd like to ask you guys. So far I'm kinda left alone to find a solution for this matter and Autocad is not my most used CAD Program.

THE PROBLEM
The PDF Export from Layouts. Exported PDF are not showing one specific font and are giving me the following error message:

"Cannot find or create the Kids font some characters may not display or print correctly"

This happens although the font is  checked in the custom properties setting in Autocad.

Rightclick Layout -> Plot -> Properties -> Custom Properties -> Edit Font List -> Check All / Capture all -> Saving the Changes

THe Font is part of the Font List and is correctly installed on the system.

It is a True Type Font

Why not stop the transition, roll back, and wait until all of this blows by?
Now is not the time to upend everyone's ability to work seemlessly from home.

FWIW
- Did you folks not field text ONE PC with the migration to work out all the bugs before switching everyone over? Or are you doing that now? Do testing on one PC, then test a very small group of users, then switch everyone once you work out all of the issues.

- Stop "exporting" to PDF: PLOT or PUBLISH instead, use the core PDF drivers built into 2020, take total control. You probably forgot to set your PDF drivers to capture all fonts. That's right there on the PLOT and PUBLISH pop-up as a button when you select one of the built in PDF drivers.
