Autocad Architecture - Merge common material in visual style

I wish common material could merge with an option with visual style in drawing, that way when I see my building in 3D, there wouldn’t be a line on the brick wall between the ground floor and the second floor. That would be a great improvement in future release of Autocad architecture.

 

P.S. I know we can hide edge line in visual style, but when doing that we lose all edge and it look silly.

I'm not sure what you mean. If I have two walls with one above one another with materials assigned to them then they don't appear to have a line separating them with the realistic visual style that shows the materials. Here is my drawing with two walls:

Here it is without one being selected. No lines between the two:

If you are not seeing the same, can you post a sample drawing and screen capture of what you are seeing on your computer?
