Autocad Architecture 2017 can't find Sheet Creation Template

Hey All,

Any idea why ACA2017 wouldn't be able to find the Sheet Creation Template?  I'm not sure where to browse to find it.  Thanks.

Hi @Anonymous,

Welcome to the Autodesk Community and thank you for posting your question here in the AutoCAD Architecture forum.

In addition to @pendean's referenced solution, if this suddenly started happening in a sheet set where you previously never saw the error, and could create new sheets using a Sheet Creation Template, you may want to ensure that the file hasn't moved (or had its name changed).

You can check it by right-clicking the sheet set's title and choosing Properties...:

SSM_Properties.png

In the Sheet Set Properties dialog box that pops up, under the Sheet Creation section, verify that the location and file names are correct:

From your description, it sounds like you're using Sheet Set Manager, so that's where I took the screenshots from. Let me know if you're actually using Project Navigator, and I'll adjust my instructions for where to find the sheet template.

Hey Victoria,

Thanks for your response.  I am trying to access via the Project Navigator, so any help you can provide would be much appreciated. Thanks!

To set up the Project Navigator with a sheet template is very similar to SSManager.

Access is through the Project Browser

Hi @Anonymous,

Thank you for confirming you're using Project Navigator. Accessing the Sheet Creation Template is similar (as follows).

From the Sheets tab in Project Navigator, right-click the project's title and choose Properties...:

PN_Sheet_Properties_Access.png

This will bring up the same Sheet Set Properties dialog box (with a few Project Navigator specific items added). Under the Sheet Creation section, verify that the location and file names are correct (you may want to browse to the location listed and open the file that's designated, to ensure it's there and functional):
