Adding Text Font

I want to add a font style onto AutoCAD Architecture to allow making a plottable banner.  I have downloaded a .ttf file with the font but can't find where to copy it into the system so it is accessible in CAD.  I'm sure there is a font file buried somewhere...can you point me to where it is?

Have you done an internet search on windows install fonts?

If so have you tried the recommendation to right click on the font and choose install?

1. TTF fonts need to be copied to the WIndows Fonts folder. No where else https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/314960/how-to-install-or-remove-a-font-in-windows
2. Restart AutoCAD then go find it to use.
3. Not all TTF fonts work with AutoCAD: OTF type TTFs are totally ignored. You might have picked up that type if you cannot find it in AUtoCAD but can find it in say MSWord. Do a quick test with another application and confirm.
