ACAD Architecture Object Enablers missing

Received a Autocad drawing saved in ver. 2000 from an architect. When opening it walls and doors are shown incorrectly/missing. I’m using Autocad 2016 with fabrication MEP. It appeared I’m missing object enablers: AecArchBase80, AecBase80, AecBaseExt80, AecSchedule80, all product descriptions are AutoDesk Arch desktop 2007. I can’t seem to find these on the website.

There was no ACA v2000: are they using the old ADT3 or ADT2 by chance? Or something else? find out if you can.

Also post a DWG file here for others with ACA to test for you.

All OEs are here, if you find none for your software there are none to be had https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/downloads?release=2016

I Installed autocad 2018, and opens just fine.  -wishing everyone would use revit so we can solve autocad problem by uninstalling it. lol

Hi @Anonymous,

Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

Am I understanding correctly that you installed AutoCAD 2018 and now you can open the older file that you were having trouble opening prior to installing 2018?

If not, let me know if you're still having trouble. I'll be happy to take a look at the file you're struggling with.

If so, you can click Accept as Solution on your post, and/or @pendean's post, if they reflect your solution to the problem.
