3d View -ground floors on wrong story

I have generated a view  dwg file containing the ground floors of 3 stories. The ground floors are assigned to the correct story in the project navigator, but in the 3d view the 2nd and 1st floor appear both in the 1st floor, overlapped.

How can I correct the Z axis of in the 3d position of the stories? Why does this error happen?

I am not certain that I fully understand what you are doing.  Let me know if any of the following is not correct:

  1. You are using AutoCAD Architecture and have a project created in the Drawing Management system - Project Browser and Project Navigator.
  2. You have created at least three Levels in your project:  Ground, First and Second.
  3. You have created at least three Construct files, and assigned one to each Level.
  4. You have created a spanning View, that includes those Ground, First and Second Level Constructs.
  5. In the View, the Ground Level Construct appears correctly, below the other two.  The First and Second Level Constructs, however, are appearing at the same vertical location, overlapping each other.

Assuming the above is correct, are either of the First or Second Level Constructs at the correct vertical location?  In other words, is the First Level Construct located correctly relative to the Ground Level Construct (with the Second Level Construct at the same level as the First)?  Or is the Second Level Construct at the correct vertical location relative to the Ground Level Construct (with the First Level Construct at the same level as the Second)?  If so, check the Properties of the Construct that is not at the correct elevation and verify that it has been associated with the correct Level.  Perhaps the Second Level Construct is also associated with the First Level (or the First Level Construct is also associated with the Second Level).

If both the First Level and Second Level Constructs are incorrectly located relative to the Ground Level Construct, then check both the Level with which each is associated as well as the Floor Elevations assigned to each Level, to verify the numbers are correct.

If all of that is right, then verify that the geometry within each Construct is in the correct vertical location.  Anything that should be at the associated Level elevation (such as the top of a Floor Slab, or the bottom of a Wall) should be a Z=0 in the Construct file.  Project Navigator will take care of the vertical offsets between Levels when creating Views that span more than one Level.
