I am interested in creating a fully furnished 3d model using AutoCAD Architecture and the 3d block library built in to ACAD can be somewhat limited. Does anyone have suggestions for a website that has blocks/objects that can be downloaded and uploaded that is trustworthy?
Actually good idea, but it will be not so easy. A lot of famous brands did their model of furniture for ACA decade ago . But not now- all of them moved to Revit. I try to finde some now, but it seems nothing to finde.
Do you think we could create a 3D asset sharing page on the forums? If no one else has any other suggestions that is. Or? Is it possible to transfer REVIT assets to AutoCAD?
Both ideas sounds well as for me. Transferring of furniture from Revit is possible. But it needs eventually making of Muly block references. Well it a piece of work..!
Here the experiment I've done ...It converted to solid by default by Revit( but it option to polysurfaces) very quickly ..I just try to convert it in-place to mass to apply materials...and it became harder to spin. Thus I just painted solid at all. For shaded views it could be used without making muli view block in my opinion
