I know there's a command for this but I cannot recall what it is! I want to change the shape of my space to match a polyline I drew. (The spaces are already created and it's faster to draw a new polyline and reshape the space). In the image attached I want the boundary of the space the blue arrow is pointing to to convert to the polyline the red arrow is pointing to. I don't want to make a new space. Anyone know the command off the top of their head? Thanks.

If you want to convert a polyline to a space object, right click the space tool on the tool palette and on the flyout select "apply to linework"

1.  Select your Space.

2.  Right-click and choose AEC Modify Tools > Merge from the context menu.

3.  Select the bounding linework.  When done, press ENTER.

4.  Indicate whether or not you want to have the bounding linework selected erased (default is "No") and press ENTER.

5.  Space boundary will expand to include area within bounding linework.

NOTES:

1.  Bounding linework does not need to be just one, closed object, but all of the selected items do have to form a closed boundary.

2.  If some portion of the initial Space is outside of the bounding linework, that portion will remain part of the Space.  If that is not what you want, then you will need to pre-edit the Space so that it is entirely within the bounding linework.

3.  You can also access this command from the ribbon:  Home ribbon tab > Modify panel flyout > Merge/Subtract split button.  If the Merge tool is not the active tool of the split button, select the drop-down portion of the split button and choose the Merge tool from the drop-down.

The command I was thinking of was LINEWORKCROP. Took me an hour to think of it.

Crop is one down from Merge on the AEC Modify right click flyout, and is also available on the Home ribbon tab, Modify panel flyout, as part of the Obscure/Crop split button tool.

Glad you were able to find the command.

Yes, but when I right clicked for my options crop was always greyed out, so it wasn't clicking together for me. Typing the command LINEWORKCROP worked perfectly though.
