xref

I use autocad WS with the ipad.
I load a drawing with an xref to my account and i see the drawing correctly on the homepage.
After synchronization with the ipad i load the drawing in my ipad and the xref is not displayed correctly on the drawing. The xref is not located correctly.
Maybe the error is because I created the xref in the HCS and the drawing was created in UCS?
What can i do to show the drawing correctly in the ipad.
Sorry for my english, i hope you know what i mean.

Hi Erwin, A host drawing should display all of its xrefs whether they are raster files or DWG files. For that purpose, the xref files should be available in your AutoCAD WS account either in the same folder as the host drawing or in a folder of similar path to the original location on the local computer. Once the xrefs are displayed, they will be available in your AutoCAD WS account whether you access the drawing from the mobile or the web app. For more information about uploading xrefs, try this tutorial: http://www.autocadws.com/tutorials/?portfolio=managing-fonts-xrefs-and-stylesheets Please note that AutoCAD WS does not currently support PDF attachments. If your xref maps are in PDF format, they will not display. Thanks.

Thank you for your answer. I read the tutorial, but my problem still exists. The xref (dwg-drawing) is available in the same folder as the host drawing in my AutoCad WS account. The Web App displayed the drawing (host and xref) correct. But not the ipad-App. There the xref is displayed, but not situated right to the host-drawing.

Hi Erwin, What type of file is the x-ref? Please contact us at feedback@autocadws.com, and send us the files (original file+ x-ref) with the case desecration so we can examine it here at our lab. Thanks.
