how to get GPS display autocad mobile to display correctly

I am using samsung galaxy 7 android with autocad 360.   I am trying to get the gps location to show correctly.   I have tried scaling the drawing to meters in 360 but the GPS still only moves about 50% of the distance that it should on the map.   For example, I walk 100m but the GPS only moves 50m on the phone display.    I even had the file saved in meter units (we generally work in feet) but that didn't correct the issue either.

Suggestions most welcome.

John

thanks for suggestion. my gps in android is already set to high accuracy
and provides precise location with apps other than autocad 360. this
definitely seems to be a 'units' issue.

Hi @johngargasz

We are aware of some issues currently occurring with our GPS feature, and we're working constantly on improving the GPS capabilities and accuracy all the time.

Please note that the GPS component in each device works in meters (international standard), so if the units in your drawings are Inches for example, it might cause a little change in scale...

I suggest to change the drawing's units to meters back in Autocad desktop (not just within the app), and then try to re-upload the file again to AutoCAD 360.

Thanks,

AutoCAD360 from 2-years ago (topic of the post you are replying to) no longer exists.

The current iteration broke the ability in recent updates, hopefully it will be back in the next few updates, you'll have to wait and see with the rest of us that are also looking for it to come back.
