Creating Objects with Apple Pencil on iPad Pro

I am currently using a demo of the pro version of AutoCAD 360 on the iPad Pro. I can't seem to figure out how to make objects using the pencil as shown in this YouTube video that was posted this month. I can manage to draw lines and circles but not rectangles or polygons like he does. I also noticed a Quick Tools button in his bottom toolbar that I don't see on mine. I just downloaded the app tonight so I am on the latest version. Am I missing something or is the published version of the app different than the one in the video? Thanks!

Hi @Anonymous,

Rectangles can be created with the Rectangle tool (Within the Shapes toolbar).

The video displayed an older version of the app, where a rectangle is created with the smart pen tool which now supports creating Lines only.

In the attached screenshot, please find the new Quick Trim button.

Best,

I saw the button you are talking about but seeing that the video was posted by Autodesk a little over two weeks ago, as a feature, I assumed I was missing something. I guess old versions become old REALLY quick :-). Thanks for responding so quickly, I greatly appreciate it!

An update to the smart pen icon would also be appropriate. It currently shows a square being drawn 'in progress' with a circle behind. Should only be a line and an arc. Oh, and rename the icon label 'smart pen' to 'Line/Arc/Circ', or 'not really that smart anymore, pen'
