Coordinate Conundrum

When using the GPS function in WS mobile, does the drawing coordinate system have to be saved in Lat Long in order to get the device to position me in the drawing automatically . The GPS locates me several hundred kilometers off screen at the moment. I am using the Irish coordinate system ITM.
If required, can coordinate systems of drawings be easily converted?
Overall, the WS mobile app is fantastic.

Hi Reg, Your drawing coordinate system doesn't have to be in lat and long but you do have to make sure you set your Geo Marker in AutoCAD so there will be a reference point. Also, the GPS uses meters\feet as measuring units, moving on the drawing accordingly. If the units in your drawing are different the result would be inaccurate. For example, if you move 30 meters the GPS will move 30 units in your drawing. If your drawing is in kilometers it will move 30km, if it's in cm - it will move 30 cm.
