conversion error when exporting/sharing a dwg file

I created a new dwg file a month ago of a new model of skis. This file was exported to the factory so that they could make a mold. This worked just fine and the exported file looked the same as on my Ipad Pro.

Yesterday I added a core profile to the same file and exported that to the same factory. All that is now shown is a circle. The file looks fine on the Ipad, with both the shape of the skis and the core profiles, but all exports just show a circle.

Any ideas what the issue might be?

Let's just say that i sent the file to the factory and they tried to open it up and all they got was a circle.

The same happens when i make a pdf of the file, only a circle that is shown.

Is there some kind of limitation for going into older files and changing/adding to them?

No limitation: did you send them the actual file, or a link to download the file?
It sound like you perhaps did not sync your file back to the cloud before sending it to them, or sent them the wrong file altogether.

Can you post these files here? Both the original and what you sent after modification.

I sendt a link for them to download the file.

I do however get the same issue when sending i as a pdf file that i open myself.

I considered that it might be a sync problem, but in this case i just get a large circle when if it was a sync problem it should just show a pair of skis.

At no point has there been only a circle in the drawing.

I did not save the original as a separate file, i just continued working on it and it has since synced with the cloud many times.

However the current file is attached.

And many thanks for the help!

Also I notice that the file I attached here is only 23kb, which is less than half the size than the filesize shown on my Ipad Pro.

Correct: 23kb is basically an empty file (maybe with a circle on it): you are indeed sending them an incomplete file.

Your device-loaded full file is not syncing back to the cloud: is your file stored at the autocad360.com files location? Or somewhere else?

Hi @Anonymous,

We are experiencing some plot/download issues in the last few days. Our teams are working on identifying and resolving the problem.

We'd be happy to examine your drawing. Please contact us directly at feedback@autocad360.com, with your username and file's name, and we'll take it from there.

Thanks,
