Hi there,
I ma using the free trial of AutoCAD 360. Uploaded a pdf file and want to meassure this. How do i change the scale so i van meassure this out in square meters for plastering works on the fassade and plastering inside?
Hi @royvangageldonk,
AutoCAD 360 allows you to create, upload and open PDF/DWG files, but calibrating or scaling a whole drawing is not supported yet.
The app only allows you to scale objects withing the drawing (if that's a DWG file)...Also, you can change a drawing's units, but just for display purposes (http://help.autocad360.com/customer/portal/articles/1280233-how-do-i-change-the-measuring-units-of-m...).
Thanks,

This is not the best program to measure PDF files, especially since you have to also compensate for the scale of the PDF (if it was even printed to an actual scale).
IMHO go find a dedicated (not free) PDF take-off software solution for your business needs.
Do hou have any suggestions for a software?
The professional-grade PDF take-off/estimating software is still PC/Laptop based http://www.capterra.com/construction-estimating-software/
A 2-in-1 Laptop running WIndows10 like this http://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/lenovo/yoga-laptop-series/yoga-3-pro-laptop/ or this https://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msusa/en_US/pdp/productID.5072641000?WT.mc_id=pointitsem%20Goog... and others is what you need to be mobile, not iOS or Android mobile devices.
