Cannot Copy and paste within a drawing

I cannot copy and paste within the same drawing in A360.  A window keeps popping up with the following notation:  "You can only select objects within the Markup layer. Objects on View only layers cannot be selected."  I may be forgetting how to do this, as I was able to copy and paste before.  Not sure how to get into the Markup layer.

AutoCAD360? then... Are you in a layout? You need to be in the model I believe is what it is asking: click blue icon top-left, then eye-shaped icon, then under Layouts select MODEL.

Don't abbreviate product names, call a spade a spade 🙂
