Command line switch "/pl" - who knows how to use?

The command line switch "/pl" should publish a DSD-file in background

http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Startup...

I tried with 2014, 2015, 2016, asked some people - nobody got it to work ...

How to use this switch?

Background publishing doesn't work for many, works only for a few: and any startup like you read can be overwritten by other startups that follow later, locked ARG profiles and more.

If you want to turn on background publishing, why not do it with a LISP in teh ACADDOC.LSP? this loads at the end of AutoCAD starting up and not at the beginning. Look up BACKGROUNDPLOT system variable in HELP in AutoCAD. Then hope your office is the few lucky ones that can get this to work and not the majority that cannot.

hi Dean

thanks for the info.

For plotting personally I prefer Lisp too, but at the moment I'm working through the switches very detailed - and that's a real dessert of outdated and missing information (in Online Help, Knowledge Base ...).
