AutoCAD 2011 Palette Icons

hello,

I have some palettes anchored as icons on my interface (i.e. Properties, layers, xref, etc). During start up, or when I open a drawing, all of the palettes fly out as though I hoverd my coursor over it causing the program to load slowly. Once AutoCAD or the drawing loads, the Palettes autohide like normal. Is there a way to keep them from flying out during this process? Thanks.

No: the startup is turning on those palettes, that's why the each do that.
Turn them off instead of hiding them if this is an issue for you: turning them one when needed may be less painful.
