I have a view in Revit showing only linked models. I want to publish these from this Revit file due to issues with alignment across multiple uploads.
When I select publish, I filter by current view. But the publish processes very quickly, and when I check online the newly created models have 0 elements.
What's going on? Do I have my settings incorrect?
@kmreyesARKCN You will need to publish your models without checking the "filter by current view".
The only time you will use the filter by current view function is when dealing with models that are not linked.
@kmreyesARKCN Another solution you might want to consider - If you are using a federated Revit file to link all of your models into so that you can publish to Assemble, there is an alternate solution that might suit your needs.
You can create separate 3D Views in your Revit project for each of the models that you want to publish to Assemble. After that, you can create a BIM360/ACC publish set comprised of all the 3D views you just created. After you create all the views and set up your "publish" views, you can publish your Revit file to BIM360/ACC. Once you do that, you can import your models directly to Assemble from ACC/BIM360. Each time you have model updates, you will want to re-publish your Revit file to the cloud and then pull the new models into Assemble that way.
This is actually an effective workaround in the case where linked models may contain things that you don't want to show up in Assemble, but can't be filtered out through the normal Revit Publisher (since it only honors workset and category visiblity settings.
Just wanted to offer up an alternative solution!
