Assemble uses Internal Origin instead of Shared Coordinates.

While publishing the Revit models one by one, Assemble uses Internal Origin instead of shared coordinates. As a result, the individual models appear misaligned in the federated model in Assemble. Is there a work around for this issue?

@Anonymous  Are you saying that you are linking in models together in a federated model by shared coordinates, publishing them one at a time (instead of batch publishing) and the alignments in Assemble are messed up?

Or are you opening each model separately in Revit and publishing to Assemble? I've never had a problem with misalignment when publishing linked models from within a federated Revit model. If there is no specific reason that you would be opening individual models and publishing separately, I would highly recommend creating a federated model in Revit, whereby all the models you link by shared coordinates should align properly when published to Assemble.

Yes, a workaround is to link all models into a single Revit file using shared coordinates before publishing to Assemble. Then, publish that combined model instead of uploading each one separately. This ensures Assemble reads the correct shared coordinate system. Alternatively, you can redefine the Internal Origin to match the shared coordinates in each model before publishing.

I had the same problem but what made it even worse was the fact that there were over 30 files that I had to upload and the federated model was too big for Assemble to handle uploading. I had to upload the separate files and I need to do it once a week so the only feasible way to do that would be through the cloud and opening each individually in Revit and messing around with how it is geolocated every single time would more than quadruple the amount of time I would have to dedicate to the task.  I really wish there was an option for picking internal origin or shared coordinates when uploading.
