Couple of questions if i may...
1. Will this work along side Artcam 2013? Or does it overwrite it?
2. If i subscribe, and don't want to continue after 12 months, can i go back to using Artcam 2013?
3. Does Artcam Standard do anything Artcam 2013 doesn't?
4. If I create something in Standard, then decide in 12 months time not to continue, and the answer to Q2 is yes...will all my files created in Standard work in Artcam 2013?
5. Can I use Standard 'offline'? Or do i need to be connected for it to function?

Autodesk ArtCAM Standard can be installed alongside your ArtCAM Express 2013 software; you can use both.

If you choose not to renew your subscription to Autodesk ArtCAM Standard, you can continue to use ArtCAM Express 2013.

Autodesk ArtCAM Standard has much more functionality than ArtCAM Express; you can compare the different Autodesk ArtCAM products here. When comparing Autodesk ArtCAM Standard against discontinued legacy ArtCAM software products, it is closer to ArtCAM Insignia than ArtCAM Express.
A 30-day trial version of Autodesk ArtCAM Standard is available to download from the ArtCAM website. Since this promotional offer does not expire until 31st July 2017, as noted on the Autodesk Store, you could use Autodesk ArtCAM Standard free for the next 30 days, and then purchase a discounted 1-year subscription afterwards.

ArtCAM Model files (*.art) created in Autodesk ArtCAM Standard are not backwards compatible with ArtCAM Express 2013.

You do not have to be connected to the Internet all of the time in order to use Autodesk ArtCAM Standard 2017, but you would need to connect to the Internet every 30 days and sign in to the software so that Autodesk can keep the software up-to-date and verify that your subscription is still current. This is explained in this article in the Autodesk Knowledge Network.
