ever bored?? what do you do??

 I had nothing to do today (nothing I wanted to do is more like itSmiley LOL)

 

so I did a little modeling of nothing. here's a pic

My wife found this photo and said she liked it and wanted me to make it (the model is close to the image but not too close). I think she has something in mind for me to do some (dirty word) work.

Dan????,

 

   Guessing on your first name.

 

    What I did was and what I used

 

  Made a circle then made a smaller one then used the block copy tool then used the shape editor to give the shape.

 

here's video to see how I did it. Umm I was using 2015 r2 on this pc It's basically the same for 2017, so I hope there will be no confusion.

Mike, a short cut to copy a vector is just hold down the ctrl key and drag a copy off with the mouse

yes Mike, I'm Dan Ioan from old forum, thank for video, I never used block copy tool in AC but seems fine

Dan,

I like control, I really haven't used the texture flow tool much, mainly because I am a control freak. With such a small area like that center button it would just be a waste of time with the texture flow tool. The block copy tool is fast and easy.

By the way your welcome (about the video).

 

  There is a tool I have really enjoyed the last year or so and that's the new one in the sculpting tools The "Putty tool" this so much fun making junk wasting time just playing.
