I have checked the full list of post processors included in the Autodesk ArtCAM 2017 product range, as well as testing them, and I cannot find an existing post processor compatible with the Eding CNC machine.

If you require a custom post processor for use in an Autodesk ArtCAM 2017 product, it will be necessary for you to create and submit a case from your Autodesk Account. When submitting your case, please provide us with an NC code sample which has worked successfully on your machine, as that will assist us in creating a compatible post processor.

Thanks for your time and cooperation.

Kind regards,

Eding uses the emc/Linux control

there is a Linux inch and mm post processor availble in ArtCam

You can also use a generic g-gode fanuc post p or the  mach3/4 post with the Eding.

note in some cases you may need to adjust the post.

What version and build of Autodesk ArtCAM are you working in? To confirm this, select the Help > About Autodesk ArtCAM menu option in your ArtCAM software. For example, Autodesk ArtCAM Standard 2018 (Version: 2018.2.0 Build: 2017-12-07-1854-b336f4842).

Have you tried selecting the Mach3_4 (inch)(*.TAP) or Mach3_4(MM)(*.TAP) option from the Save Toolpaths dialog's Machine file format list when saving your toolpaths? Please confirm.

If you require assistance with a post processor for your Woodpecker CNC machine, please create and submit a case from your Autodesk Account.

A customer with an active subscription for Autodesk ArtCAM Standard or Autodesk ArtCAM Premium is entitled to request assistance with post processors from Autodesk Support. An initial assessment on post processor development undertaken by a Technical Consultant does not usually incur a charge. When the Technical Consultant has assessed the amount of work involved with the requested post processor development, they will advise the customer as to whether any additional charges will be incurred. It is important for the customer to supply Autodesk Support with all of the information and supporting files they request during this process.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask. Thanks in advance for your time and cooperation.

Kind regards,
