The GPU renderer's feature parity has been neglected for very long. I've been working about the lack of sss_setname and lack of functional shadow_matte on GPU for the last 4 years. It's tedious and costly.
I would like to know what the roadmap is for implementing the basic sss_setname feature in GPU land. It'd also be nice to know when GPU shadow_matte's severe limitations will be fixed.
I hope there is some high profile client with enough money and weight to compel these fixes to actually happen someday.
