GPU Mac OS question

Hello, I am just finding out recently about the development of Arnold GPU. When I searched for some info on the topic what came up the most is that the GPU version will not work on MAC OS. Can someone officially confirm that? If it doesn't, are there any future plans to do so? I presently use an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 with the latest drivers (that come from NVIDIA) on my MacPro. I use it on the applications that support it (like Turbulence FD, Octane Renderer, and other apps). Arnold is by far my favorite renderer on C4D but if the GPU version will not work on Mac OS then I have to consider switching to Octane or RedShift and I really don't want to do that. I'm a Mac head so there is no way I will switch to PC and Windows a this point and all the investment I put on Mac. Thank you in advance for any insight.

macOS is not supported.

Neither the required NVidia drivers, nor Optix 6, are available on macOS. Both are requirements for Arnold GPU.

Hello Ricardo, I am Mac Head too. Unfortunately, although already announced, Octane nor Redshift don't work on Apple's Metal yet. I would immediately support Autodesk to invest in Metal implementation. Apple should reach out to software devs too, instead on wasting money on crappy TV shows. Beside Arnold I use also Corona renderer. They have both good CPU optimisation. A modern CPU performs better than old GTX 970 anyway
