Why can´t you use Arnold for virtual production?

Hello I´m a student who`s currently working on an assignment for uni about virtual production.
Can someone perhaps explain me why there´s just Unreal Engine to work with but not Arnold as render engine? I`m still new to all the modelling stuff but I need an answer on that for my prof but can´t find anything about it.

You need realtime feedback. Arnold is much to slow to give you the needed instant feedback.

 

But it could be used to render the final images after you have tracked the camera.

On part two you see a lot has changed. And cause its so new its evolving fast.

Dear Christoph, please tell me how to render the final image in Arnold in Unreal Engine!

There is no easy fast tutorial.

 

You have to learn Unreal.

There are hundreds of videos on youtube.

I know Unreal Engine well. And I know Arnold Render well.
I don't know how to connect them together.

If you mean exporting a scene from Unreal Engine to another environment, for example Maya or Cinema 4D, I know this method, but this is not it.

You need to build the scene with USD so that they are in sync. In Maya and Unreal.

Thats not something one could do easy. You need to build a pipeline around it. 

Thats a massive undertaking.
