Anyone have an idea why this GPU render of the head is colorless and washed out? I have a standard bitmap connected to the base color channel in an Arnold standard surface material and an Arnold dome light with OSL- hdri lighting , for the head. The scene was converted to Arnold. I'm running an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB GPU and all drivers are up to date for 3dsMax 2021 , 64 bit, windows 10. Any ideas are much appreciated. Thanks.
How does the CPU render looks like? Not necessairly what see in the viewport is going to be reflected in render.
I think you may have a node somewhere on the shading network that isn't supported by the Arnold GPU. Can assign the material used for this model to a cube or a sphere and send it to me?
I rendered it again and it looked ok, not sure what the problem was the first couple of times. I'm sending a Max scene with the material on a sphere and the HDRI anyways. Maybe you have some advice for better render settings. Thanks for your help.
