Trying to render with Arnold in 3ds max 2020, but just get a black window

Hello,

that's my first try to render something in 3ds max. I'm using the latest version and trying to render it with Arnold. But all i can get is a black window. I've searched all the themes in the forums and I've tried all of the things mention there, but just cannot find the right way to fix it. Starting to freaking out a little now after countless hours of guesses and tryings. I managed to get a picture once but it was extremely lightened and now i cannot even remember how i set it. Now back to the black.. Would appreciate a hint or something as I feel totally lost now.

Try using Arnold lights.

I've put some of them earlier and turned off the others (guess I could have turned the arnold ones off too in the saving, but i have them in there ...) and still the same. I've tried to change the intensity and exposure of them, to change the position...

Increase the Exposure of the light. This tutorial introduces Arnold lights.

Scroll down, and find intensity or exposure and use the spinner and start pulling up till you see the light apears in the render view.
Also, use Active shade as it renders live, so you see the effect you implement pritty much instantly.
