I'm encountering a substantial inconsistency with subsurface scattering when I render an object using CPU vs. GPU.
Please see the attached. Hopefully I've given enough info to help find what I might be doing wrong.

This is a known limitation. From https://help.autodesk.com/view/ARNOL/ENU/?guid=arnold_user_guide_ac_arnold_gpu_ac_features_limitatio... we have:
"Diffusion SSS mode is not supported."
Forgot to add: If you look at the Arnold logs I would hope it would have informed you about this.
Thank you and my apologies. In this case, I definitely missed that. I've invested so much into the GPU solution side of things that I'm on high alert for what I would call the "staple" features that photorealism demands.
