Hello i need to make this but i dont have an idea i have a blue earth and a satellite turn around and reveal continent whit a light beam , how i cant get this effect ?
I think to use a volumetric spot light ans a blue shader on my sphère but how i can reveal another image whit my light ?
How about a spot light with a low Aspect Ratio for the light beam?
You could connect a ramp to the Mix Weight of a Mix shader to reveal between two shaders.

Gobo is cool but i have always the same image , i need to reveal the earth but i reveal the same continent is very difficult ton move the image and the gobo
What if you projected the texture map connected to the Gobo?
