Normal and Bump Nodes Vs Substance Designer MtoA for Normal map

If I use a bump2d node in Maya I have the results from the first image

If I instead switch to an aiNormalMap (my preferred option) then it looks like it is inverted in comparison (second image)

Looking at the original map (from Substance Designer) (third image) it is different again. To make it look like Substance Designer using the aiNormalMap then I have to invert X (fourth image)

Does anyone have any experience with this?
