As shown, when I loaded a step function preset, an error occurred in the spline editor. The two points at (0.5, 0) and (0.5, 1) have a sorting error, which reverses their order and causes the overall function to appear as a Z-shaped zigzag.

However, this strange behavior does not occur in C4D's native spline editor. My Arnold version is:

C4DtoA 4.9.3 [a053649d]
Arnold core 7.5.3.0 [c79639cc]
Flow Render 1.1.0 [16039330]

Something's definitely odd. I could reproduce it first. Then I tried in the legacy Arnold Material and also in Redshift Node Material. Both worked ok. But now I can not reproduce it anymore in the Arnold Node Material, the preset is loaded fine every time I try. In any case, the Arnold Node Material uses the native Cinema 4D spline control UI widget If something is off, I don't think it's in Arnold, but in the native widget.
