Hi
I have a single plane which has an aistandardshader with glass properties. The IOR = 1.5 and I get a very curved view when looking through the glass.
It may be correct but it looks really odd when I view from inside the space.
In the image there is a red coloured plane outside of the window and there is a portal, a directional light and an area light.
Do I just reduce the IOR or something else so it looks less refracted or is this the right way to do it?

That's definitively not the right way to do it ![]()
The fix is simple however, under 'Geometry' rollout (aiStandardSurface) check 'Thin Walled'.
I'd go also in the Shape tab of your plane and under Arnold->Visibility uncheck all but Primary Visibility.
