Creating third-party Imagers with the Arnold SDK

Hi all,

I was hoping someone might be able to help point me in the right direction to some resources regarding writing imager plugins. I couldn't really find anything in the API reference, but maybe I wasn't looking in the right places. I'm very new to using the SDK, but I'm comfortable compiling/installing plugins, and was wondering if there are any simple examples or documentation I could look at to help get started.

There's no public API yet. We want to get the imagers framework right before exposing through an API, which locks us in.

Okay cool, makes sense to me. Do you guys have a rough target when that could be? It's not urgent, just curious.
