Hello from Hamburg.
Is there any Way to change a Shader of a Prop from PHONG into Standard Surface and keeping the Texture in Place?
I am thinking of something like marking a Surface in the Attribut Editor and change the "Template: phong" somehow to another Template to have more editing Possibilities, for example Glossiness, Specularity, Luminosity or what ever...
I am sure, there is a way to keep the Texture, and not getting the whole Prop grey on all surfaces as it happens by right click "assigning new Material". It is not that comfortable.
Or can I have any Option, that a Prop imported as fbx gets Standard Surface (or other) instead of automatically phong, as it seems to me.
Tried also to get it done in the Hypershade but did not find any Option there.
Any Ideas how to change a Shader Template but keeping the Texture UV Map in Place for having more editing Options?
