Anisotropy of scattering materials.

Hi

Question for Arnold 5 users

Is there a list of value for the scattering anisotropy ( phase) attributes of scattering materials? To know which are forward scattering and which are backscattering and how much?

I'm thinking materials like skin, wood, wax, milk, clouds, apples, smoke etc.

The standard surface and volume shader have this attribute, but I have no idea of what value to give it.

I read that clouds have a strong forward scattering element for instance. But maybe someone has made a list of values per material and can share it! ๐Ÿ™‚

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

P.
