aiSwitch and Displacement node

Hi,

It seems that aiSwitch doesn't work for displacement. I searched the web and 2 years ago someone reported it and they say it's a bug. anyone has any idea how to make it work? we are using maya 2018.5 and MtoA 3.1.2

Thanks!

I just tried it in C4DtoA and it worked.

Thank you Stephen, but I am pretty sure in Maya it doesn't.

Thanks Stephen, I appreciate. this is helpful as it shows it works though I did the exact same connections (with a bunch of extra nodes to randomize the assignment), so I went back and recreated the setup, and this time it didn't give me the 'can not link displacement' error. although I do get this type of errors when working with Render Layer Setup, which you need to quit maya and start over fresh.

Thanks again for you time.

@Ila Soleimani
Hi

That's because there's actual two switch nodes, and MtoA figures out which one to use based on what you connect. I had the same problem the first time I set it up.
