TRYING TO DENOISE AN EXR COMPOSITED IN PHOTOSHOP USING EXR-IO PLUGIN

Hello, i have a rendered out image with all AOV'S, and open it out in photoshop using the EXR-IO plugin. However, after doing some compositing and re-saving the file as an EXR and then try to use the NOICE utility on the said image, i get the following error;

" Denoising RGBA

Could not find AOV with source RGBA and filter variance_filter

Could not find variance for AOV "RGBA", skipping denoise.

Finished denoising."

Is there a workaround to this or does Arnold only denoise what's directly rendered only?

Thanks.

You are missing the metadata in the EXR header.

That's why you have to render a merged EXR, to get the required metadata so that noice can find the required AOVs in the merged EXR.
