How to use aiStandardVolume in Environment?

Hi,

In MtoA 4.0.3.1, Render Settings > Arnold Renderer tab > Enviroment > Atmosphere has three options: aiAtmosphereVolume, aiFogVolume, and aiStandardVolume.

I could not find any documentation discussing aiStandardVolume in this context. I think I know how to apply aiStandardVolume to a mesh, but have no idea how it would work as an environmental effect. After choosing aiStandardVolume in the Atmosphere slot, the scene goes black and changing the shader attributes doesn't make any difference I can ascertain.

Please explain how to use aiStandardVolume in the scene environment.

Thank you,

Aaron

Thank you Lee, so is the bug that aiStandardVolume is showing up in the options when it isn't supposed to?

Right, this menu shows all shaders which classification is arnold/shader/volume (that's the folder where they appear in the hypershade).

But this one doesn't make sense in practice as you said, so we should remove it from the menu
