Hello, I'm trying to make a candle light using a point light in Arnold. I want more realistic shadow edges so I make the radius value higher (around 1). However, it creates a sphere around the center. I would like to know if there is a way to have more physically accurate shadows using a point light without its size changing. I guess I could use a mesh light but is it really the only way ? I use the same principle with spot, directionnal and area lights and have never encountered this issue. By using atmospheric light, the issue is more apparent (see the image for an example). I guess I could use a mesh light but is it really the only way ?
