Custom Katana exrheaders

Hello!


Is there a way to add custom EXR metadata in KtoA?

The Foundry has this page with instructions, but it only seems to work with Prman. I've confirmed that this does not work with Arnold, as when I bring the EXR into Nuke, none of my added exrheaders show up.


Any ideas?

You need to set it using the "custom attributes" entry in the ArnoldOutputChannelDefine node.

@Stephen Blair Thanks for this example! Managed to get it to work when rendering locally and saving to a file. The metadata doesn't seem to show up when it comes off the farm though, but I think we can manage from here. Thanks again!
