ArnoldGlobalSettings inherits aov_shaders from upstream

Hello!
I'm adding my aov shaders to the arnoldGlobalStatements.aov_shaders attribute with an opscript. when I check a box, it adds/appends with the location of the appropriate aov shader. If I then create an ArnoldGlobalSettings node downstream from this, it inherits the aov_shaders from upstream automatically. The problem comes in when I then change the upstream aov shader (removing a shader. adding new ones
seems to update correctly), the AGS node doesn't update and instead keeps the same shaders as when it was created.
I've attached an example scene that shows this behavior.
It would be great if the AGS node refreshed itself better.
We are running:
Katana 6.0v2
KtoA 4.2.2.3
Arnold 7.2.3.3
