The Cursed HtoA "generating Scene" problem

I am currently trying to evaluate HtoA, but can't; thanx to the accursed situation of Arnold getting stuck spewing out a "generating scene" message.
What's worse than the incident itself is the fact that there are tons upon tons of posts of people suffering from the same problem and that none of the so-called "experts" on the forum were ever even able to present anyone with a viable solution so that subsequent users could read and benefit from them. Every post thread ends dead... Don't take my word for it, go check it out.
I am on the lookout to buy several licenses for a render engine, and imagine how I feel after such an "unsolved", "mystical" occurrence that comes up during evaluation, keeping you from evaluating the damned product itself at all.
Here's my log file from the Arnold ROP, for I'm sure some dude will show up here asking for it (sheesh)

What can one expect from AD anyhow except for a blunder such as this...
