Sick - Solaris material assignments not being picked up when assigned to Shape/Mesh

Hi

 

In Solaris - when assigning materials to the Mesh/Shape rather than Xform/Transform, the Sick executable does not pick these up. Husk however does. In the viewport, the shaders are also correctly assigned.

 

Is this a bug or is there a reason for this? Reading the USD, the assignments are correct so this does appear to be a Sick specific issue.

 

Be great to know if I'm missing something here.

Either works for me. Tested with a grid. .grid1 or grid1/mesh_0, both rendered the same with Direct USD Render enabled.

sorry, Direct USD Render is how to render with sick from inside Houdini
