How to use stress attribute in Houdini to blend shaders in Arnold

Hello there...

I have a vellum sim in houdini with a mesh expanding and inflating. for shading i want to blend two

shaders according to the stress attribute when the mesh is stressed or relaxed...want to set it up with 2 shader/layer shader and tried like every user data node with the stress attribute to blend the 2 shaders... not able to get it done and i can´t find any tutorials or stuff to handle it..

greetings

You have to promote the stress attribute from primitive to points on the vellum solver constraints output, then copy that attribute to your output mesh. You should be able to use the attribute with the user data node after that.
