HDRIs no longer visible in Solaris renderview?

Before when using a dome light and a texture and rendering in Solaris, I could see the HDRI image visible in the background of the render. Now all I get is a weird outline on my geometry like this:

This outline disappears when I set the camera contribution to 0 in the Arnold settings of the dome light.

Is there any way to make the HDRI visible again in the background?

What is causing this recent change in behaviour?

It looks like something specific to the Houdini 20.5 versions of HtoA.
HtoA 6.3.3.1 in Houdini shows the skydome background in the viewport.

For now, you'll have to use OpenGL for the viewport. Edit > Preferences > 3D Viewports

HTOA-2712
Dome light background and VDB volumes do not render in Solaris 20.5 Vulkan viewport

That was an issue on the Houdini side, and seems fixed in Houdini 25.0.522 and later.
