Candidate Lights vs. Force Lights

Houdini 15.5.351

HtoA 4.1.2

Arnold 5.3.1.1

I've encountered a strange behavior in Houdini: If I put an arnold light into "Force Lights" on an arnold ROP and render, Arnold still takes the "Enable Light" toggle into account. In Mantra/Karma whether the light is Enabled/Disabled only matters for Candidate Objects. If a light is added via Force Lights it does not matter whether enabled or not, it will show up in this render.

Even according to the Arnold documentation this seems to should be the case: https://docs.arnoldrenderer.com/display/A5AFHUG/Main

"Force Lights

The lights in this parameter are added to the render regardless of whether the light is enabled."

However in my Houdini/Arnold version the light will only show up in the render if it's enabled - even if added via Force Lights.

Is this a bug or doing something else I'm not seeing?

It was a bug but it was fixed way back in HtoA 5.6

htoa#982 Fix forcelights parameter on the Arnold ROP

Thanks a bunch!
