After HtoA 6.1.0.0, can not use in CPUrenderfarm

Seems HtoA 6.1.0.0 update note said:

  • The driver type must be set to DCH.

After this version, I can't use this version on CPU render farms

And CPU render farm workers do not have GPU or graph cards.

I got an error with deadline 10.

It works fine with HtoA 6.0.2.2, with no graphic card.

and HtoA 6.1.0.0 works fine with a graphic card installed on it.

So, what should I do?

I also tried manually using Hython, not work.

tried editing device.py and ai_device.py to disable GPU,  not work again.

That's for downloading the driver from NVidia. That will have nothing to do with a render.

You should check the logs from the render node.

Only got this error exit code:

Error: Renderer returned non-zero error code, -1073740791.

Houdini and Arnold shut down accidentally.

And I have tried, Disable HTOA, using mantra to render, and it works.

So this is not related to the Houdini version.

I think after HtoA 6.1.0.0 Added some GPU detection while loading the HTOA plugin, couldn't detect it, so crashed and exited.

If you can enable arnold logs (maybe the latest htoa will do a better job outputting the log file) it would say if it exited out because of GPU.

Are you maybe by accident trying to render on the GPU? Or maybe you have the optix denoiser (uses gpu) enabled? If you make a new scene from scratch that contains nothing, doesn't have a denoiser, is set to CPU rendering, and submit that to the farm, does that work?

No, it crashed before the render started. crashed while loading the Arnold plugin. So don't have any debug logs.
