What are the details of off-line use?

While hovering over the "buy" button, I've seen a number of different descriptions of how Arnold functions (or doesn't) when there is no connection back to the license server. I spend much of my time off line so this would be a no-go for me.

One source said you just need to reconnect to the license server every 30 days (that would be more than sufficient). Another post said, when off-line Arnold will still works but will render with a watermark (then that's not fully working is it)

Another post said you can be offline for up to two days.

And what happens when the internet goes out while you are working? And then if you quite C4D or it crashes and you fire it up again without a connection, can Arnold continue on without a watermark? And if so, for how long.

Can anyone clarify this?

If you buy online, you get a single-user subscription. 
For single-user, there is no license server. All you do is sign in.

You have to sign in at least once every 30 days.

To sign in, you need an Internet connection.

Between the 30-day sign ins, it doesn't matter whether you have internet or not.
