Visible UV seams with SSS

Hi

Is there any fix or workaround for dark UV seams appearing when using SSS for skin shaders?

The UVs have plenty of bleed, and it's definitely the SSS, i've tried disconnecting normal, bump and so on.

1st pic below no SSS - cleanish textures

2nd pic full SSS - dark uv seams

Many thanks for any tips.

Oh, still 4.0.3.1 - haven't updated yet 🙂

I seem to have fixed this 🙂

My model .OBJ had been imported with Geometry set to split 'By Material' - creating discrete geometry inside a null per material, so I had Face, Torso, Arms, Legs etc all as separate geometry in a null.

Changing this to import and split by 'Identical Name' or 'Split Polygon Groups' imports the figure as one mesh with textures applied by poly selections created upon import.

Full SSS with no seams. Voilá

是的,因为渲染器不能把按照UV拆分的网格当作是整体来进行处理,只要对UV边缘的多边形进行连接就好了
