Toon edge selection

Hello

Is there a way to make a edge selection in C4D and feed it to arnold toon shader in order to not draw a line on it?

Like in C4D sketch and toon. There is a way of excluding or include edges.

There's no control on including/excluding a specific list of edges. You have a few controls on the edge detection algorithm, as described in the docs: https://help.autodesk.com/view/ARNOL/ENU/?guid=arnold_user_guide_ac_toon_ac_toon_edge_html

Alternatively you could work around that via polygon selection sets and apply different toon shaders to control the edges to be excluded.

I found something that kinda works. Basically I made an edge selection, made a vertex map and feed the edge selection into the vertex map. Then in arnold you can put the vertex selection into the edge opacity.
